The
Olympic Sport of Fencing is considered the pinnacle of all athletic
sports. It is comprised of three sport weapons, foil, epee and sabre. The modern Olympic sport requires fencers to be of
the fittest of athletes and have levels of skills which require many hours
of dedicated training. Fencing is also reputed to develop intelligence.
Fencers have the highest average GPA of both high school and college sports.
The Club is Open to all
Students Grades 9 - 12, enrolled in the Dublin Coffman, Scioto, or Jerome
High Schools. The Season lasts from October - March and finishes
with the Ohio High School Fencing Championship. News Flash: Dublin Fencing Club won the "Battle For The Blade", the annual fencing match between Upper Arlington and Dublin. Congratulations Team Practice is held on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m., to 5:30 p.m. at the Dublin Sport Fencing Center, located within the New Market Mall, located on the corner of Sawmill and 270. www.sport-fencing.com
